How Wonder uses Elixir
Wonder uses Elixir and Phoenix in the backend for its automated restaurants. Real-time distributed systems coordinate cloud infrastructure, on-site robotics, frontend applications and other services.
The engineering work includes order fulfilment, communication with robotic hardware and human-machine interaction. PostgreSQL, WebSockets and event-driven infrastructure support this coordination.
