How Veeps uses Elixir
Veeps rebuilt its backend in Elixir and Phoenix after encountering scaling limits in its earlier system. The rewrite brought the concert platform and its ticket-shopping experience onto one stack.
Phoenix Channels supported interaction during live concerts, while LiveView handled the ticket-shopping journey. The team described completing the rewrite in eight months and supporting events with hundreds of thousands of concurrent viewers.
