How SparkMeter uses Elixir
SparkMeter uses Elixir across embedded devices and cloud services for grid management. Nerves gives its hardware a shared development and deployment foundation with the rest of the Elixir system.
The team needed distributed, fault-tolerant software that could cope with partial failures. Nerves also helped with local iteration on hardware and control over the boot process when parts of a device could not start.
