How Remote uses Elixir
Remote chose Elixir as its primary technology from the start. Co-founder Marcelo Lebre wanted to build the product quickly without making future scalability a separate rewrite project.
The team valued reliable performance, readable syntax and a language that new hires could learn. Its growth offers a useful example of building a large engineering organization around Elixir rather than introducing it into one isolated service.
