How Ramp uses Elixir
Ramp engineer Pablo Meier describes choosing Elixir for several systems at the company. The appeal was the BEAM’s concurrency and partial-failure guarantees, together with the development tools provided by Elixir.
The account also explains how immutability, explicit module calls, concurrent tests and documentation conventions helped the team reason about a growing codebase. It does not identify Elixir as Ramp’s only backend language.
