Nerves runs the embedded software behind an open-source farming robot.

## How FarmBot uses Elixir

FarmBot uses Nerves to build and deploy software for its farming hardware. Engineer Connor Rigby moved an early Ruby proof of concept onto the Elixir-based embedded platform.

That work also fed back into the ecosystem: networking contributions helped shape functionality that became part of NervesHub, the service for managing over-the-air firmware updates.
